Gilan's Encounter Counter not working

hi. im having some weird error with gilan's encounter counter, where it does not log pokemon that are caught. it just stays at 0. i created a batch file to launch it together with pokemmo, and that works fine. but it doesn't count any of the pokemon i come across, even tho i see it launched at the top right of my screen at 0 seen pokemon. i tried reinstalling by deleting it and repasting it in the mods folder and that didn't fix it. any ideas? thanks
