Any tips for efficient podcast transcription? Insights welcome!
Hey fellow podcasters,
I’ve been chatting with a friend about the challenges that come with producing high-quality podcasts, and one thing that keeps coming up is the need for efficient and affordable transcription. Having accurate transcripts can be a game-changer, whether it’s for accessibility, repurposing content, or SEO.
However, there are a couple of major pain points we’ve noticed:
- Manual transcription is a huge time sink. Spending hours transcribing an episode distracts from other critical tasks, like content creation and promotion.
- Cost is another big hurdle. High-quality transcription services can be pricey, making them less accessible for smaller podcasts or independent creators.
How do you all handle transcriptions for your shows? Do you have any reliable tools or workflows that save time and money?
My friend recently launched a project called tulz.ai, which is aimed at making transcription easier and more budget-friendly for creators. You're welcome to check it out if you're interested, but mainly, we’re curious to learn from your experiences and see what’s working (or not working) for you.
Looking forward to any tips, tools, or feedback you have!
