pilates with hypermobile knees?

i’m new to pilates and have hyper mobility (the reason for starting pilates, i’ve heard it’s great at managing pain long-term)

it’s been amazing so far, BUT i’ve found that being on all fours/on my knees pushes my kneecaps out of place and it makes me feel really close to partial dislocation.

does anyone have any tips on how to better support my knees? would be much appreciated, thanks!!
