New swelling on a 2 month old Flat piercing should I be worried?

Hello! I got my flat pierced on November 11th with a nu-metal threadless bat. This is my 8th piercing and the first I've had issues with. Today the ear around the piercing has swollen quite substantially and I am just looking for suggestions on things I can do to help as it hasn't had any issues until today. It's raised quite a bit and turned pink. It did bleed during a cleaning today. I've never experienced anything like this so I'm not sure how to alleviate it.
