Understanding more about Photoprism folders

Hi Everyone,

I have a couple of questions about the Photoprims web app.

If I always used the web app import photos feature to import photos into the library is the following true:

- Photos will not be stored in the originals folder and will only be stored in the storage folder? and also perhaps the import/upload folder.

What is the purpose of the import, storage and originals folder especially with respect to the WEB UI

Regarding immich:

If I want to transition from Photoprism to immich is is enough to install immich and point to my storage folder?

Would I lose any important information if I did it this way? Are the files contained in sidecar and other folders important? Please let me know.
