3D Printing or a Drone Rental business?

I was asked by a friend why shouldn't I try doing one of the options above and after that question, it left me wondering. This is one of those times when you are completely split on whether to choose one or the other, even after facing the facts subjectively and objectively.

For experience in both natures of business, I am currently studying engineering and am skilled in creating 3D designs, such as aircraft, drones, and engines. However, I was also a part of multiple projects involving video production and I had my fair share of national competitions and awards.

For the capability to execute the business, I am leaning towards 3D printing because I know that I have the skill and technical capability to design, manage, and sell products, especially for people with niche needs. However, I am also leaning toward a drone rental business because I would like to apply my passion for videography and the things that I have learned after working with people in the industry. I have tried to be an editor, a cameraman, and a drone pilot at some point in my life. Knowing this, I think that I can pull off both businesses.

Regarding the capital I am willing to spend, it will be small to be honest, around 20k siguro. For 3D printing, I can get a used printer or get some deals and still have enough capital to cover filaments, parts for upgrade or maintenance, and other related things. For the drone rental service, I can get a used drone or wait for deals that will enter the 20k mark.

As for the networks that I have for both possible businesses, since I am in an engineering school with limited options for 3D printing our projects, I believe that I already have a target market. Additionally, I am also in groups of vehicle owners looking for parts or niche products to fit their needs. I have friends who are experienced and well-known in the field of content creation and videography, I believe that I can connect with them to make me a part of their team for aerial shots or help me enter a certain market.

I am planning to pursue on or the other, but I am also considering other options. If you were in the same situation as me, what would you choose?
