Won chargeback and now merchant threatening to send me to collections

I bought a 4k sectional couch online that was advertised as top grain italian leather. It arrived in beat up boxes with Chinese markings and Chinese tags (looked like it had been dropshipped from China). The white couch had multiple black stains, scratched up legs and one of the sectional motors did not work. The material also seemed like cheap, fake leather not the Italian top grain that was advertised.

I contacted the merchant and told them I wanted to return the couch. The merchant said 1) Original shipping was non-refundable 2) They would not pay for or arrange return shipping - I had to pay for the return shipping 3) Upon receiving the return it would be inspected for damage (that might occur during return shipping)which they would subtract from any refund amount.

I said it was unacceptable to make me pay original and return shipping for a damaged item. After they still refused to provide a return shipping label I filed a chargeback on my Visa Wells Fargo card and submitted documentation and pictures. Visa ruled in my favor for the chargeback.

I am now receiving threatening messages from the company saying they will send me to collections and take legal action as I have unjustly enriched myself. Do I need to do anything at this point to protect my credit score?

I will never buy furniture from a non-local company again. Learned my lesson…
