End of year bonus being offered in Coca-cola stock

At the end of the year i expect to get about $100 K bonus payout. Which is great!
I've worked in a self employed capacity for the same person for decades, managing and caring and helping grow a seasonal business. My pay has always been based on a percentage of the sales we make. Per our contract, this year at year end, i should be receiving a bonus on top of the my percent of sales that will be between $90k and $100k. This is a one off bonus. It won't repeat. The Business owner has suggested he make the bonus payment portion to me in Coca Cola Stock. I'm guessing he has a lot of it and it will help protect the cash flow of the business and maybe he avoids cap gain tax if he gives me the stock instead of selling it for cash to pay me. Not sure about why it makes sense on his end but thats okay. On my end, any ideas what would be best to do with all that stock? A few specific questions below:
1. do i pay tax on the stock i receive in the year i receive it or do i pay tax when i sell it off?
2. should i keep it all as stock? Keep some and sell the rest? or sell all?
3. Is coca cola a good stock?
3)are there pitfalls i should be aware of?
I've barely dabled in stock ownership. Even my retirement accounts are just index funds.
My investments are primarily in residential rental property.
my household annual income is about $90k
my only debt is home mortgages for my primary and the rentals
Thanks!
