Is NVIDIA’s 572.16 driver incredibly unstable and causing crashes in various games, or is it just me?
Ever since updating to the new DLSS4 driver, I’ve experienced worse performance and frequent crashes in multiple games where I had never experienced a crash before. I have changed nothing else other than updating the nvidia app and the driver.
Games like Microsoft Flight Sim 2024 now stutter like crazy (even when showing a stable 100+ fps, RDR2 is essentially unplayable with a weird reoccurring black flickering but more so because the game consistently soft locks after 15 or 20 minutes and shows nothing on the start menu to where ALT+F4 is the only option, and just worse overall performance in most other games. The only game I haven’t had any issues with since updating is BF2042. But I also don’t use DLSS in that.
I like DLSS 4 strictly for its improvement with ghosting, but that’s about it. I’m gonna rollback tonight but I’m just curious if it’s mostly just me having these issues or if it’s more widespread.
