Findom Dynamics/Categories to Avoid

We're all consenting adults so of course do what you like (while not hurting others). These are just some "brands" of FinDom I would avoid, typically because they can escalate far beyond financial loss and cause other, potentially more serious issues:

1: Blackmail - pretty obvious; the rush blackmail dynamics can offer is CRAZY so I get the appeal, but it can lead to serious stress and anxiety, even if none of the information is ever actually used against you. Giving out your name, card details, address is one thing, but I've seen people give out family/friends info which in my opinion is disgusting - even giving out your boss or your works info can cause serious headaches for people who should never be involved in YOUR kink. If you don't avoid blackmail altogether, then at least keep innocent people out of it!

2: Techdomme - this is another one that can just escalate. I know some subs are extremely tech-savvy (christ I feel old) and know exactly where the goal posts are and what info/links they can click safely, but a lot of people are CLUELESS about this stuff and can end up losing a lot more than just money. Your devices hold so much information that can be exploited so if you're not confident in securing your info, I'd recommend avoiding this

3: Stripe/Auto-Drain - these are usually branded as "tempting links" for clicksluts ot human atms etc - once you sign up, the provider can charge whatever card you hooked up endlessly, unless your bank steps in and blocks the card. Even at that, a lot of these services will automatically update your card info if you end up replacing the card you signed up with, so you could be linked to it even after reporting it to your bank. I always suggest keeping the sending power in YOUR hands in general (don't give out your card info etc.), but you can feel exceptionally powerless and have serious anxiety over a mistake you made in a matter or seconds.

4: 'Taboo' instruction(?) - I couldn't think of a name for this one. Essentially, there are doms out there that will encourage you to jerk it to things like your friends or family members, usually while sending etc. This would just be a little degenerate if that's where it ended. This one can escalate into encouraging you to get off to violent content, all the way to content featuring minors. This is obviously disgusting in and of itself, but can lead to literal jail time if you've mixed this with blackmail or other, info sharing kinks (to be clear, you should be jailed for engaging in THAT content, whether you're "caught up" in findom or not) This is definitely niche, but it does exist so PLEASE avoid.

Felt quite grim writing that last one but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Interested to hear your thoughts & any other dynamics you'd avoid that I've missed.
