Does anyone know how to restore this?

Hi everyone, I have a pair of Ecco shoes that I recently bought. After cleaning, putting conditioner and the rain repellent from Ecco they’ve kinda gone whitish which is weird. Is there any way for me to bring the colour back? Did I use too much conditioner or repellent?
