Tawd Valley civil war reenactment is this weekend

Hi everyone,

I had the joy of my first visit to Tawd Valley parkrun this weekend just gone. It was perhaps my favourite parkrun to date: fantastic marshals and a wonderfully varied terrain, which included trails, by people's doorsteps and an underpass. I've therefore recommended it to many already. It lived up to the reputation I'd gleaned from the web, including this forum - where I first saw reference to it doing a civil war reenactment.

As chance would have it, on Saturday the RD shared that this coming weekend (22/02) is the civil war reenactment. I've never seen it before, but it sounds like good fun, complete with cardboard cut out weapons adding to the marshals' already brilliant characters. I'm therefore posting here to spread the word for yet another reason to head to Tawd Valley parkrun.
