Tips for taking walking twins out

My boys are 17 months and on the move. I want to take them out to places more but it’s so hard when they go in different directions. I have my husband on the weekends and my mom during the week but my mom can only chase them around for like 15-30 mins. My mom will be going on vacation soon so I’ll be alone more with them and I don’t want to be home all day. I’m confident in loading them up in the stroller and walking around the neighborhood but I’d like to go somewhere where it’s easy for me to control both of them not in the stroller or is that just not realistic right now? We have inclosed tennis courts near our house but it’s not always a guarantee they are not occupied. We also live near a school that is enclosed, but it’s in session during the week so that’s not really an option.
