Benny Moore guy down sold me

Im painting the walls in my house [Swiss Coffee (off-white) color in eggshell]. After explaining the project and asking the Benjamin Moore employee for recommendations for which level of paint to use, he suggested the Ben paint for most rooms, and the Regal for high traffic areas and bathrooms.

I was really leaning towards the Regal for everything but he said the Ben is a little more forgiving on beginners so I went with his suggestions.

I'm seeing on the subreddit that no one really uses the Ben paint. So my question is: why did he downsell me?

Honestly I'm very happy with the paint! As a BM/SW virgin I'm floored by the coverage and ease of use. But, does it get even better (fyi I haven't cracked open the regal yet, so I may answer my own question)?
