INSL-X bonding primer adheres so well to unsanded, glossy cabinets, do I even need to sand?

Update to previous post about Ben Moore primer not sticking to cabinets-I went ahead and got INSL-X bonding primer and tested it on both sanded and unsanded cabinets. It adheres equally well to both, so is there even any point to sanding or can I save myself the time and trouble and just prime?

Was planning on using Ben Moore advance as topcoat but I'm also looking into the INSL-X cabinet paint.
