Help with kitbashing Mek Gunz

I’m planning to get some Mek Gunz and equip them with Kustom Mega Kannons, but I don’t like the look of the official gun and want to use the Killkannon from the Battlewagon kit.

Does anyone have experience kitbashing the Mek Gunz? Would the Killkannon be too big to fit?
