Brain Zaps from tapentadol? Falling sensation / flinching when trying to fall asleep

So I take around 400-500mg of tapentadol per day, have been for nearly a year now - (I suffer chronic pain it’s not just for recreational purposes but I’m definitely addicted)

But tonight I’ve been getting brain zaps everytime I close my eyes and try to sleep & like a falling type of sensation. Sorta feel a bit light headed aswell.. I’ve had no sleep and only had 4 hours sleep the night before so I know sleep deprivation isn’t helping

Anyone been through this? It’s so annoying I can’t sleep because of these zaps and falling sensations.

I have Xanax oil here, would that be safe to take a little bit of that to try and relax my body? It’s messing with my head now and pissing me off bc I’m so sleep deprived and just want to sleep
