I prepared a party, spent my last dollar and no one showed

I 25 m just started college this year, I started to learn but also to make friends. So today I cleaned my dorm room went to the store and cooked food for my friends. I can cook kinda well so we’ll people say they can’t wait for me to cook again. Since I’m a college student I don’t have a lot of money, before school I worked and made a lot of money, so much I lived off it for two months. Now I have two jobs and work my but off I take all the shifts I can handle help my friends by cooking them some good and healthy food, since we don’t get that in the cafeteria. I used my last dollar to buy all the food then when the food was done it was around the time people should have shown up. Five minutes pass, ten minutes pass, twenty minutes pass, the an hour passes and no one showed. I just feel lonely now.
