ID confiscated

So my ID got taken away because my friend who goes to nyu used it to get into bobst as she lost hers and then the security got took it away. I got my ID back from lost and found today but she said I might get an email from student conduct? How serious is this?? I don't want any student conduct problems on me as my friend took my ID w out asking!!
