What’s your honest take on this job?

Hello nurses!

I’m currently a 7 year paramedic/Firefighter and I am heavily leaning towards doing a paramedic to nursing bridge program because firefighting is really taking its toll on my body and I’d really like to be able to enjoy life after I’m done working. Ideally I’d like to end up in an ER. So I’d love to hear some brutally honest takes about the job or some advice you wish you’d gotten before going to school.
