is it standard for gyms to not replace broken equipment?

I'm going to Onelife and paying extra to use the recovery room, it's got 2 massage guns that are broken and now one of the air massage machines are broken

I've told the front desk staff on multiple occasions and now sent an email to the manager and got no response.

After spending time out of the country I'm used to getting a discount if something like this happens because I can't fully use what I'm paying for

I'm just curious if it's part of the business for gyms to not replace equipment, after being out of the country for so long
