How to Stand Out as a Fresher Node.js Developer?

Hey guys

I recently posted 2-3 times on Reddit, talking about how I’m not seeing many job opportunities for freshers in Node.js. It seems like I have to do frontend work, but I don’t enjoy frontend development, especially CSS.

After reading all the replies and speaking with some senior developers, I’ve decided to stick to backend development with Node.js. I know it’s tough for freshers to get a job, but I’m determined to make it happen. I’ve tried frontend multiple times, but I always struggled with it. So why force myself to do something I’m not interested in?

I love backend , and I will continue expanding my skills in Node.js. Alongside that, I plan to learn Go as well. I’d rather struggle with backend than force myself into frontend again.

Now, my question is
How can I become one of the top 20% of Node.js developers? If I’m applying for a Node.js role where 2,000 other people have also applied, how can I stand out and be in the top 1%? What extra skills or advanced knowledge do I need to gain?

Would love to hear your advice
