Tips to get out of a "funk"

So, this year is not going well, mentally I'm really up struggle street. Everyone has their struggles, and I know some are doing it so much worse than I right now, but I just cannot seem to pull myself out of my current spiral and I'm feeling pretty lost and helpless. Does anyone have any (preferably free or at least under $20 per week) tips or tricks to improve not only my current mental state but also to build mental resilience? I'm already on medication and I can't afford therapy, so please, any tips would be so appreciated.

I took some of the advice to lessen the amount of time on social media. I am reading your comments and taking your advice on board, just in batches so I don't get overwhelmed.
