Mysa Thermostats and Mini Split

I am building a house and our main area is very open, we are planning to have baseboard heaters but a mini split in this area as well. I had planned on getting mysa smart thermostats for the baseboards in this area, but I'm wondering if the mini split would sort of make the baseboard heaters redundant anyway, or would there be an advantage to having a smart thermostat in this area? I don't know a lot about how smart thermostats or even mini splits work really, so hoping to get some advice from someone who knows.
