Lactose Intolerance?

Seven week old is exclusively breastfed.

Every morning, he wakes up with bad gas pains. Cries for five minutes or so before passing gas and usually pooping.

Four days ago we started a probiotic in hopes of it helping. Maybe seeing some minor improvements?

I’m wondering what symptoms your baby had for a true lactose intolerance (I’ve read it isn’t as common as some think)?

Noticing slightly mucus-y poops. But our pediatrician said that alone isn’t a cause for concern…
