Almost 12 week old still not sleeping in own sleep space.

I’m stuck between just dealing with this until 5 months when we can sleep train or really trying to change it. But my almost 3 month old had a rough start to life with silent reflux and terrible digestive issues that started around 2-3 weeks old. Before that I was having her take naps in her crib and was putting her in her bedside bassinet for night sleep. Once the health issues hit it got harder and harder to put her down in her sleep space and actually have her stay asleep. We would be up for hours at night (until 1:00,2:00, sometimes 3:00am) during her gassy colicky stage which lasted from weeks 4-9. She would eventually pass out being held and that’s how we had to stay. Because of this, out of desperation for sleep I began co-sleeping. I still would (and do) attempt at least one crib nap a day, but she won’t last more than a sleep cycle. I’ve tried connecting sleep cycles, letting her fuss it out for a few min (no more than 5), laying her down drowsy but awake, patting/ shushing, etc. Nothing works. She will only connect sleep cycles in my arms, co-sleeping, or in the car.

I also start her first “long nighttime stretch” in her crib and once again same thing- won’t last more than 30 min. Therefore, her bedtime is late (like 10:30pm/11:00pm) because she goes to bed with me- otherwise she won’t stay asleep. It’s hard because I really want her to start going to sleep earlier and getting a couple of hours to myself at night. I just want her on a good schedule.

I follow Taking Cara Babies and haven’t had much success if it all with independent sleeping. :( I bought Precious Little Sleep too AND Moms on Call. I’m trying. Wanted to see if anyone else was in this same boat and what they planned on doing.

Edit: I have a 2.5 year old as well otherwise it wouldn’t be such a big issue that she doesn’t sleep independently, but my house is falling apart and I need time for myself and my toddler while my baby gets restorative sleep somehow. My first wasn’t a good daytime sleeper but did fine at night. She slept in her crib at night, so I didn’t have this particular struggle the first go around, but we did sleep train at 4 months using Ferber (she wouldn’t sleep without being swaddled).
