bad choreography or nessa not following directions well?

in this video, i can see more of the vision that nessa’s choreographer is trying to create. it’s not the best moves in any means, but i think nessa’s main problem focuses too much on how she looks on stage and is scared to ‘not look pretty’ for a few seconds whilst performing and it ends up making her performances fall flat. either way these two aren’t working well together because i don’t think nessa’s understanding what she wants from her.
