With the addition of Karl Anthony Towns, are the Knicks the unquestionable top threat to the Boston Celtics now in the East? What would you rate their chances against Boston in a 7 game series?
Straight forward question(s) here, the Knicks made this move now, for someone they have long coveted in KAT, because MitchRob is down for half the season and they had a massive hole at C. Brunson should love playing with KAT and KAT should love playing with a creator like Brunson. Offensively this team has already been top 5 and they could end up even better, if things click.
KAT has improved defensively but he is still not an ideal anchor of a defense and he is still foul prone and just all around still an up and down defender. All of that being said, do you think this brings the Knicks closer to the Celtics, further away...same as before? Do you think they're now the clear cut #2 in the East? How would you rate their chances today against the Celtics?
