How do you pronounce "Kira" ?

I'm loving the name Kira, but I'm wondering how you would pronounce it as written?

My parents are saying Kira = "kai-ra", Keira = "kee-ra", Kyra = "kai-ra".

Am I setting my daughter up for a lifetime of correcting pronunciation if I spell her name "Kira", but want it pronounced "Kee-ra"? I went to HS with a Kira (kee-ra), but Keira Knightly and Kyra Sedgwick is causing me grief!!
