Tell me some names that you've heard, that means something completely different in your language.

I speak Spanish & Finnish for the record.

Spanish:

• Mira means "look"

• Mona means "female monkey" or "dumb"

• Isla means "Island"

Finnish:

I heard the name "Kamala" which if I'm not mistaken, is an Indian name?? But Kamala means "horrible" in Finnish

Also "Kala", it means "Fish"

I told this in another comment a while ago, where a person was asking whether "Persephone" would be a good name. I told them that I personally don't like the name, but the reason why I don't, is that "Perse" means "ass" in Finnish, and then if you add "phone" to that it would mean "ass phone" and that makes me think of booty calls.
