Why does Elon take his son everywhere in pressers? Seems prop-ish

Using family to prop up oneself is pretty shitty and that is what it seems like with Elon. Why is he doing it? I know he is smart enough to realize that is what he is doing and will get called out for it - but he engages in it. I was fine with some of the times he did it - when his son first appeared on my radar, when he ran up to his dad's speech with Trump - I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. E.g., maybe his son did just run up the stage - sure whatever. But today's Oval Office presser has no logic behind it. Kids will be kids but this can't even give Musk the benefit of the doubt. He is treating us like we are dumb animals.
