What laptop(s) would you recommend for producing with a DAW/DJing?

Hey! So I've been using a very old, very slow laptop for my beginner music production for the past several years and it's definitely hindered me from producing much of anything in the past year, simply for the fact that it's very old and has been crashing when I try to open recent multitrack files. I have to get a new laptop for school anyway so I've been saving up for a while, but I'd definitely love it if I could also produce off of it for years to come

I'm really not picky when I've made do with an old one for so long, so I would love opinions from you guys to make sure I don't make a dumb purchase when getting a new one. All I really need is for it to run FL Studio smoothly (and a couple of other freeware DAWs + vsts) and I guess for the latency to be really minimal? Nothing too expensive over a reasonable price either please... I'm not a professional so I don't need the most incredible laptop in the world, just something that works for now, if that makes sense.
