Beginner friendly DAW with fairly good plugins, for Windows, as someone who wants to produce my own music
(Sorry if I use incorrect terminology, I just started!)
I've been making songs, and since they generally come from bass or guitar riffs, I've just been using Bandlab. But that's getting really limited, and I need something better. I did a free trial of Studio One 6, I don't know if its the right DAW for me, I honestly liked Bandlab better even if all i made on that was shitty demos.
Right now, I'm looking for something intuitive so I can start with a lot of songs I have drafted that need to be produced. But as I get better, I would like the DAW to hold up in capacity and still be good. So growing into it rather than outgrowing it.
I have is a Scarlett interface and headphones, as well as my keyboard, guitar, and bass. I would like something that makes live looping easy (I have this cheap guitar loop pedal that helps me make a lot of cool loops, so something that is easy like that on the DAW.)
I want to experiment more with synths and 808s because I'm starting to really like that sound, and I want to move away from purely guitar and bass songs. I really like the trippy sound of TV Girls songs, A$AP Rocky, andLa Femme if you know them.
So to recap: beginner, Windows, wants something intuitive but still holds up and good enough for when I get better, I'd like something with good built-in synths and plugins since I'm in highschool and can't afford to buy plugins. thanks!
