Most pathetic character ever put on film history??

Which is, according to you, the most pathetic character ever put on film history??

I'll start, i got two i wanted to mention though.

They are both in my opinion extremely pathetic characters and excellent performances.

William H. Macy as "Little Bill" in Boogie Nights

Leonardo DiCaprio as "Ernest Burkhart" in Killers Of The Flower Moon
