I've always been curious about the MLB but I can't ever get really into it, how do you get into the sport?

I love watching sports but the one I could never really get into was baseball. From there being so many games I felt like I couldn't keep up to watching some very uneventful games I havent been able to really get into it. I do have some interest in the sport, I watch the World Series every year and went to an O's game a couple years back. With the MLB season coming soon I wanted to try again. So any advice on trying to get into the MLB this season?
