MLB fan looting for a home team: blackout?

Hi

I recently became interested in MLB and Dodgers. As I want to watch the games, I looked into MLB tv but I also figured out that dodgers game will be on blackout in my zip code.

I dont really understand that MLB fan who loot for the home team cannot watch the game. I currently don't have any TV subscription, but I have ESPN+ (verizon provided), Youtube premium, and Spectrum internet (not mobile) I am an active duty military as well (don't know if that helps)

My goal is to watch most MLB games freely but I dont want get multiple subscription for that or go illegal. 8 Any advice appreciated. Thank you.
