09 lancer RALLIART - O2 sensor code p2195 -- part numbers , advice, any help is appreciated
I (33F) have a 2009 Lancer Ralliart and am trying to learn as much as I can about repairing and maintaining it myself to save as much $$ as possible. Finding info on the RA specifically has been harder than I expected. I got burned badly when I bought this car—spent everything I had, drove it for a month, and then it sat for a year until I could afford the $4K in repairs. And that's not even all of it. I’m still saving for a new manifold (cracked but welded and holding for now) and new turbo (a bolt broke and I think its inside the turbo ) plus other minor issues. Between shady sellers , crooked mechanics, and parts dealers, I’ve developed some major trust issues—so I’d really appreciate solid advice.
So right now, I’m dealing with some concerning symptoms:
-Erratic idle, almost stalling at stops (have a video of this )
-Loss of power, sluggish throttle response (Have to press the pedal much further for the car to move)
-Poor gas mileage
-Having no air filter on made it run better . When I removed the old (dirty) air filter, the car ran better—steady idle, no bogging, and normal-ish throttle response. Drove to work and then back home with no air filter and it seemed to be running like normal. . But soon as I put a new air filter on, the bad symptoms came right back.
It's currently throwing a P2195 code (O2 sensor signal biased/stuck lean, Bank 1 Sensor 1) and a C161e code (AWC pump) (a few others that are related to not have a stereo / head unit atm)
My plan: Replace the O2 sensors, fuel injectors, spark plugs, and possibly serpentine/timing belts (squeaking progressivly getting louder when starting) Will DIY as .much of this as I'm comfortable and confident with .
Questions: 1. What’s the OEM part number for the O2 sensor(s), spark plugs, and fuel injectors? Timing and serpentine?
Where do you guys find the correct part numbers?
Are sites like MitsubishiPartsWarehouse.com legit? (They list an O2 sensor for $400+, but AutoZone has some for $40) Could some explain this to me? Whats up with the insane price gap?
NGK.com lists NTK 25693 as an OE-identical O2 sensor for $175—can anyone confirm if that’s correct?
Any recommended sites for legit parts at decent prices? (Preferably ones you’ve personally used.)
Any recommendations on any of these specific parts that' you personally have used or had experience with?
Any tips for not getting ripped off when dealing with mechanics and parts sellers?Any other relevant advice/ tips ?
I really need to keep this car running and get it to a point where I can sell it and feel good about it. I will not fuck someone over or lie when. I sell like the the sellers did to me. ( I really love the car , closest thing to an Evo I could afford , but just got so fucked on this particular one) Appreciate your time and effort reading all this !
