Best Korean Spot in MKE, Hard Times

Hello everyone!!

I am a resident of MKE (newly joined the subreddit) and it would be an injustice not to share this place with you.

Stone Bowl Grill (1958 N Farwell Ave) has to be the best Korean restaurant in the city, and in my opinion, my favorite of all time. Serving authentic bibimbop to bulgogi, it was absolutely delicious foods on top of excellent service.

Every time I go, I’m greeted and regularly checked on to see if I need more water or if the food is good. I’ve never had a single worry with staff, which is a lot coming from someone who is very anxious in social settings.

There are amazing lunch specials (peep 3rd slide, holy hell did that taste heavenly) as well as bibimbop served in stone bowls that come out boiling in front of you. There is also hot pot, perfect for a get together with friends. If you’re not feeling like going out, they’re on sites like uber eats and give generous portions.

I BEG of you, please give it a shot!

This is my favorite spot, amazing atmosphere on top of what I’ve already described. I worry that times are falling hard, often I come in and I’m one of the only people there. This is my cry to my fellow Milwaukee residents to at least try it once. You won’t regret it.
