About to start a new job, tools disappeared from dad’s house.

So I am about to start a new job after a hiatus of a couple years being dumb and partying too much. I’m a gradechecker for heavy equipment and the only tools I have are a set of carpenters work bags that were about 350$ with at least 500$ in tools in them. I left them at my dad’s garage , he owns a construction company so they weren’t in the way or out of place there. I go to pick them up today to get ready for Monday, and they are gone literally gone. The spot they were in is empty with nothing else out of place around them . The only explanation I can come up with is one of my older brothers took them because they are horrible people and I’ll never see them again . I ask my dad if he seen them and of course he hasn’t. So now I’m dreading calling my boss today to tell him I can’t start work because I don’t have the basic tools needed to do my job . I’ve been up all night stressed on it. The part that makes me the most upset is when I can’t start work my family is gonna make sure I feel like I let them down , when in reality I feel like they let me down . Thanks for letting me rant I had to get it off my chest
