Question: why doesn't wakanda help?

Just watched Black Panther 2 and uh....anyone else confused why the nation are such pricks? Like they don't bother to help the neighbouring countries despite having enough resources to do so, like....huh? seems kinda stupid, so is there any reason as to why?
