Banning you teammates queued pick is messed up

In diamond and up when you have a ban often people will see their teammates pick and regardless ban that hero because they don’t want to deal with it. I think that it’s shameful to do that not only because you are actively handicapping your own team not allowing them to play their best hero but in general it’s just messed up to decide the team should play around your weakness. I hate hate playing against hulk as he counters most of my mains but if I see my teammate pick him I’ll play around it because the whole team shouldn’t have to play around my weaknesses. As well as many people OPT their way to higher tiers, and you might be handicapping your team even more and it messes up team chemistry.

TLDR; Banning your own teammates pick usually does more harm than good
