Alchemai fees

I’m just here to warn/complain… for context I live on Vancouver island and I had previously ordered a sweater from alchemai and loved it so I ordered another sweater and some sweatpants. I was only offered one type of shipping (fedex flat rate) so I selected it and went about my time. I got the package awhile ago and just received a letter stating I owe $117.07 to fedex as they paid my cutsoms fee for me. I would have NEVER accepted the clothes if I knew about this extra charge. So ontop of paying $425 dollars for a sweater and sweatpants that honestly I don’t like as much I also have to pay a new undisclosed fee. I just wanted to warn anyone who may also get a letter from FedEx saying this. I myself know I will not be buying anything from MAI anymore! Edit:just found out other people have been hit with the fee:/ very unfortunate!
