Buying a Kitten/Feeling Guilty

Hi everyone! Hopefully this is allowed, forgive me if not.

I have wanted a Maine Coon for at least three years now. I’ve done a lot of research and found a reputable breeder I like, but every time I think I’m ready to pull the trigger and buy one, I feel guilty. I’ve always rescued my pets and know there are many that need loving homes. I’ve looked around at shelters, but I have never committed to any of those either because I know I really want a MC.

Just wondering if anyone has gone through something similar and could share their experience as to what made them finally get one and why it was worth it?
