MacBook Pro M1 Pro Battery Health
I recently purchased this Geek Squad Certified Refurbished 16" MacBook Pro M1 Pro with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. The exterior is flawless and like-new. However, the battery health reads 85%, which is okay but not optimal.
However, I noticed that my MacBook only had 101 charge cycles in total (102 now; I've been using it for a couple of days). I've read that Apple advertises 80% battery health after 1,000 charge cycles, and mine is already 5% away after only 10% of the advertised charge cycle count! I've also seen other people's MacBooks have battery health in the 90% range with charge cycle counts that are many times mine.
Is my battery health normal? Is it something I should be worried about?
