Just klepped this Mac from school that they don't need anymore. (EMC 2210) Told it was fully wiped from all the school admin controls and whatnot but it just boots up to this screen only.

I can hear a harddrive whirring around inside, so the harddrive couldn't have been removed (especially since taking these macs apart aren't easy). After a while it stops making noise after trying to read data so I assume even the OS is gone too?

I've never used a Mac so I have no clue what to do and want some assistance. I've tried multiple keyboard combinations to get into recovery mode and safe mode but nothing has worked. (I don't have a Mac keyboard so probably that may be the issue?)
