Interesting data from Maxymo. I've been averaging $44 an hour active and $39 online

The average earnings for auto-accepted trips are:

• $2.95 per mile

• $39.60 per hour

My rejections are significantly higher than the acceptance as you can see in that bar chart. That's for the past week.

I miss the good old days when I could just accept most trips and have it make sense. It's so much more work now. Thank goodness for the tools that are available for us, Maxymo (Android), Gridwise (Android/Apple), and I know there's some other option that's iOS only but I'm not paying for that one because I use the iOS device as a backup and for scheduled trips. I do work about half or one third what I used to when I didn't have to play so many games to earn fair pay.

I had a 13 minute trip on Sunday night and Maxymo LITERALLY rejected 114 requests during that drive, they were all terrible offers, but it goes to show that you can cherry pick and still get good rides when it's busy. IF WE ALL DID THAT, the rates would improve, it's not that hard to set a rate that makes sense to accept and have it filter the trips.

That's the organizing we should be doing in our regions. Automate all the acceptance rates across the majority of drivers - the algo will see it and respond, it may take a few weeks. but it is doable, I think.
