Malar Rash or Rosacea

I’m a blushy individual naturally and have recently had more pronounced sunburn like redness on my face (cheeks and bridge of nose). I showed my rheum pictures and she couldn’t pin point if it was just rosacea or a Malar rash. I asked what could look for to know the difference and continue documenting, but she wasn’t able to give me a clear difference between the two.

So my question for y’all. Does anyone here have rosacea/pink skin and malar rashes? And how do you distinguish one from the other?
