so they aren’t rebranding…?

not sure if i should use the discussion or question flair, but i’m lost.

according to the nyt article, b2tsm is not a rebrand, but it’s gonna be a set of music videos and stuff they release before officially leaving? if this is the case, why not just drop the videos and THEN announce their departure? everything they’re doing feels so counterproductive and confusing.
