Moving to Lincoln

Hi, I'm moving to Lincoln in February and I was wondering two things:

1. What is there to do here? I'm a 25 year old single female, I drink but not that often, I have a dog, and I'll be living close to downtown. I don't have much of a life right now outside of work (my commute is 3hrs a day on top of 10hr days), so I'm open to trying new activities and hobbies since I'll finally have time!
2. How much will utility deposits be (ballpark) for gas and electric for a 980sqft apartment? W/D in unit, no roommates.
