[Online] [5e] [BST] [Monday Evening] [LGBTQ+] Curse of Strahd Campaign

EDIT: Thank you all for the overwhelming response and your applications, I really appreciate it! This post, however, is now closed. Hopefully we get a chance to work together sometime later :)

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a group of 4-6 players to join me for a game of Curse of Strahd (with a few tweaked elements).

I'm a newish DM and have a few months of experience and wanted to try my hand at getting better and what better way than to try out with strangers right?

To give you an idea of what sort of DM you'd be working with, I like to put the comfort and concern for my players and myself first and foremost. I love working with people to weave backstories into the world to make it more authentic but I'm also equally happy to have something completely new and I'm always looking for ways to improve so if you've got any pointers or advice during or after sessions, I'll always be all ears.

I don't allow homebrew classes and races but I'm more than happy to work with you to fit your character into this world and, while CoS is definitely more gothic horror, I'm never one to shy away from a couple laughs and lighthearted moments.

Personally, I'm nonbinary and go by they/them pronouns and have two cats who will undoubtedly make themselves known during sessions so I can only apologise in advance.

I want this to be a fun experience for everyone involved and, to me, that means having a good group that mesh well together and are ready to roll with the dice.

In terms of players, I'm looking for people who are happy to work with others and want to play characters who aren't lone rangers. It's a group game after all! I'm happy to work with people of all sorts of experiences and ages as well.

I'll be using Discord and Roll20 so please ensure you at least have a Discord.

Finally, if you have any problems with LGBT+ people or people from different races or religions please do NOT apply as I absolutely do not stand for this.
